Kate Winslet da Chiambretti: "Tengo l'Oscar in bagno"

La diva ospite su Italia 1 parla dell'Oscar, della sua vita privata e di estetica.

Potremmo dire che Piero Chiambretti ha fatto il colpaccio. Al suo show su Italia 1, eccezionalmente in onda di mercoledì con il titolo “Chiambretti Wednesday Show”, ospita la grande attrice premio Oscar Kate Winslet.

Nell'atmosfera surreale e bizzarra del programma di Chiambretti la Winslet parla della vittoria dell'ambitissima statuetta agli “Academy Awards”: “E' stato incredibile. Non ti posso dire quanto fosse straordinario. Quasi trascendentale. Uno dei momenti più incredibili della mia vita”.

Non sappiamo se fosse seria o se sia sia adeguata al tenore del programma, ma la Winslet rivela: “Tengo l’Oscar in bagno: è sul retro del water, perché così la gente può chiudere la porta e stare davanti allo specchio con la statuetta in mano. È una cosa che piace fare a tutti”.

Kate spiega di aver sempre voluto diventare un'attrice, dunque il successo sembra essere scritto nel suo destino: “Lo sapevo da quando avevo 5 anni, era un impulso forte. Faceva parte del mio Dna. Non volevo diventare famosa, ma stare su un palco e fare l’attrice. Sono stata molto fortunata”.

La diva parla anche della sua battaglia, a fianco di altre importanti attrici, contro i ritocchi estetici: “Penso che come attrice il nostro lavoro sia quello di esprimere emozioni, anche estreme. Se non riuscissi a muovere il viso non sarei più in grado di fare il mio lavoro correttamente. Mi sembra molto triste”.

Parlando a tutte le donne spiega anche il suo punto di vista sulla bellezza femminile: “Invecchiando le donne diventano più belle: cambiano, crescono i tuoi amori, le gioie e dolori sono scritti sul tuo viso. Perché cancellarli?”

La Winslet più di una volta ha ammesso di condurre una vita molto normale lontano dai riflettori. E anche in questa occasione ribadisce: “Sono come tutti. Normalissima. Spesso sono i media che mettono addosso molta pressione, che ti vogliono come una persona a cui la gente dovrebbe aspirare, ma alla fine della giornata siamo tutti uguali. Mi farebbe impazzire fare la vita di quella famosa. Voglio crescere i miei figli nella normalità, non in una bolla isolata”.

Infine a Piero Chiambretti che (con molto coraggio e parecchia faccia tosta) si è seduto sulle ginocchia dell'attrice durante un momento dell'intervista rivela un sogno nel cassetto a livello professionale: “Un giorno mi piacerebbe recitare la parte di un uomo in un film” dice Kate.

Surely most Hollywood stars choose their profession to marvel at themselves on the silver screen.

But Kate Winslet admits she wanted to 'block my ears' when witnessing the legendary Titanic in 3D.

The epic disaster film, in which the British actress starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, is being re-released to honour the 100th anniversary since the sinking of the famous cruise ship.

Kate said she was so mortified with her performance she wanted the movie clip to stop playing.

Referring to her first sneak peek, she said: 'I was literally like, "Oh God, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my God, that's me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses. Make it f***ing stop!"'

Speaking on the Chiambretti Wednesday Show, an Italian programme filmed in Milan, the Oscar-winner added: 'A whole new generation is going to get to experience the film.

'It's very exciting that I can actually sit with them (her children Mia, 11, and eight-year-old Joe) - together - and we can all watch it in a movie theatre. That is going to be quite amazing, actually.'

The 36-year-old looked effortlessly stylish in her trademark all-black ensemble, teaming a pencil skirt and jacket with a pair of peep toe Christian Louboutin heels.

Larking about with the host, Kate allowed petite Piero Chiambretti to perch on her knee as she sat on a large gold throne.

he also crouched down beside him while they stood in front of a mock fireplace on the television set in a bid to become the same height as him.

Titanic, which scooped 11 Oscars and grossed $1.8billion worldwide, is set for re-release in April.

There is also a new ITV series in the pipeline, with Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes on board.

Producer Nigel Stafford-Clark said: 'I felt that James Cameron [the film's director] had pretty much said it all... and then I suddenly thought, actually there is a way of doing this and it hasn’t been done before, and it’s something that I would be really interested in doing.

'Cameron was basically making a love story... This will be the almost polar opposite of that... a whole lot of stories of different people from different parts of society weaving in and out of each other.'
